René Montero
René Montero is a graduate in Ecology and has worked as a field researcher in many protected areas, as well as on hunting issues in indigenous communities in Colombia, and in conservation projects for mammals and bird species in the Neotropics. His passion for travel developed in him a general interest in nature, culture and interpreting the landscape. Whether on expeditions or leading tours René’s knowledge of the many parts of the Americas, but particularly Colombia and Canada, has developed to a high level over many years. His warm approach to leading, great love and passion for nature photography, and his insight into a great variety of ecosystems, makes him an excellent companion in the field.
