Owen Mountford
An outstanding field botanist, Owen Mountford combines research on UK wetlands (especially his beloved Fenland) with an ongoing commitment to nature conservation in Romania. Recently retired from leading the wetland ecology research team at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (Wallingford) Owen is currently hard at work bring the Fenland Flora to our book shelves! Besides having an extraordinary botanical knowledge, Owen’s enthusiasm and sociability make him an excellent tour leader.
