Kurt Vickery
Kurt Vickery is a freelance photographer whose childhood experiences in Malaysia awakened his interest in the natural world. Exploring Europe, Iran and Kazakhstan have broadened his knowledge in recent years. A keen lepidopterist and birdwatcher, his main interest is bulbous plants, with a particular passion for Tulips. He maintains a fine collection of bulbs under glass. In a former life he trained professionally as a chef and maintains his skills by regularly cooking for his family and friends at his home in Somerset. So, should anything go wrong with arrangements anywhere, at least you won’t go hungry!
