Jonathan Bradley

Jonathan Bradley has thirty-five years post-school experience of ‘earthy’ topics. For over twenty years, he has run his own ecological consultancy in South East England, working with anything from meadow management to barn owls. If asked if he has a specialisation, he reluctantly says trees, bats and planning regulations. Instead of real work, he much prefers working with research, volunteer and conservation organisations as a team member, trainer or project leader. Examples are; analysing wolf and bear poo in the Tatra mountains; advising the Ministry of Forestry in Grenada; bat and bird netting in Vietnam; even a (bad) Hollywood film in Tanzania. Consequently, he has spent about a third of his life abroad, in more than fifty countries. If asked if he has a favourite, he confidently states Albania. He speaks about twelve languages, all of them badly.
