Chathurika Munasinghe
Chathurika Munasinghe is a Lecturer in Zoology at the University of Peradeniya having attained both her degree and M.Phil. at the same university. For her M.Phil. degree Chathurika carried out research in the field of coral reef ecology, specifically climate change impacts on coral reefs. Her current research primarily focuses on coral and seagrass ecology and conservation, and she teaches courses in marine biology, marine pollution and coastal and marine ecosystem management. She speaks excellent English and her knowledge of and enthusiasm for marine wildlife will be evident to all on our marine wildlife tour of Sri Lanka.
