Costa Rica always produced many memorable moments and 2012 was no exception with ridiculously close encounters with Pacas, an impressive migration of Mississippi Kites, Honduran White Bats, enormous moths, very obliging Nine-banded Armadillos and a couple of venomous snakes to name but a few.
