Just back from a fantastic recce for the March Orcas and Aurora tour. What an amazing place Iceland is. I was very pleased with some of the photos, and it was well worth an hour on the plane reading up on how to photograph the Northern Lights! As the recce was at a different time of year to the tour – November rather than March, we were sadly too early for the Orcas, but had a great trip out on the boat any way, with Humpbacks, White-beaked Dolphins and rafts of Eiders, all with the most stunning backdrops.
