Beautiful Gargano

Kurt sends us these images from the Gargano trip which is stillunderway. Such beautiful nature! I particularly like the Ophrys incubacea with a wet beard! The abundance in Tulipa sylvestris in the broad bean fields outside Monte Santangelo was good to see – I remember seeing it just like that twenty years ago and wondered whether it would survive the agriculture, something it seems to have done with some panache!
