Callan Cohen

Callan Cohen is a well-known birdwatching guide and author who runs Birding Africa based in Cape Town, South Africa. Callan majored in botany at university and has a passion for all things natural, including mammals, frogs, reptiles, butterflies, and the fabulous plantlife of the Cape Floral Kingdom and Karoo semi-desert, so our tours give him a chance to let his hair down and indulge in all that the Cape’s flora and fauna has to offer! Callan has also acted as consultant for the BBC Natural History Unit.
